Well I am finally done with a week of class. I think that this semester is going to be interesting. My art history class is going to be great because we actually get to see the pieces we are studying. My teacher has out of the classroom and around Florence, which is fun. But I have to say he is really intense and so I feel like it could be challenging. My Italian teacher is hilarious. He seriously looks and acts like Borat. It makes the class entertaining. For my Italian psychology class, I feel like I might get board. My teacher is an Italian pregnant lady that doesn't speak much english and says she doesn't know what to expect because she is pregnant. It was boring, needless to say.

Last night I went out for my first meal. I met up with a friend that I know from back in Madison. We went to a small restaurant off the main street and by the Duomo. My meal was good, very standard. I felt that chicken and potatoes would be the safest thing to eat so it was a little disappointing that it was on a very Italian dish. I must say her pasta and her roommate's, that came along, pizza looked really good. I just have to keep telling myself it is worth not eating it.

Tonight there is a welcome dinner for my program. I am excited to go out socially with everyone. It should be a good time. After that who knows what the night will bring. Having four day weeks is great.

Tomorrow I think I am taking a day trip to Pisa! I promise after that pictures will be posted. Today I actually took some! Until then...Ciao!

P.S. the weather here is great! It was in the low 60s, high 50s today!!! Sorry dad I had to add that. I guess if you want to escape the cold weather you just have to come visit!
